The Diponegoro University Graduate School held its 182nd graduation ceremony at the Diponegoro University Graduate School Building on Jalan Imam Bardjo, Semarang, on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. The graduation ceremony was attended by 32 graduates from the Graduate School, consisting of 12 Doctoral graduates in Information Systems, 3 Doctoral graduates in Environmental Science, 7 Masters graduates in Information Systems, 8 Masters graduates in Environmental Science, and 2 Masters graduates in Energy.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Diponegoro University Graduate School, Prof. Ir. Mochamad Agung Wibowo, MM., M.Sc., Ph.D., Vice Dean for Resources, Dwi Cahyo Utomo, S.E., M.A., Ph.D., and the Head of the Information Systems Doctoral Study Program, Prof. Dr. Ir. R. Rizal Isnanto, S.T., M.M., M.T., IPU, ASEAN.Eng. Also present were the Secretary of the Information Systems Doctoral Study Program, Qidir Maulana Binu Soesanto, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., and the Head of the Environmental Science Doctoral Study Program, Dr. Budi Warsito, S.Si., M.Si.

The Dean of the Graduate School of Diponegoro University, Prof. Ir. Mochamad Agung Wibowo, MM., M.Sc., Ph.D., expressed his joy at the graduation ceremony. This graduation ceremony also emphasized the important role of higher education in producing quality human resources with integrity, especially at the postgraduate level, which is considered one of the keys to enlightening the nation.
“The academic process must be continuously maintained and properly supervised to produce graduates capable of making a real contribution to society. Furthermore, graduates are expected not only to become knowledgeable individuals but also to continue developing themselves as learners. The values of manners and politeness are also emphasized as the foundation for applying their knowledge,” stated Prof. Ir. Mochamad Agung Wibowo in a press release on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

On this occasion, nine graduates received awards for graduating on time and cum laude. They are Abdillah Baradja, Cornelius Damar Sasongko, Soiful Hadi, Imam Ahmad Ashari, Sabna Suryaningtias, Nurhidayah, Rajib Wahyu Nugroho Katama, Dea Fania, and Dhenok Prastyaningtyas Paramesvari.
Meanwhile, the fastest graduates were Erman Arif from the Information Systems Doctoral Study Program with a study period of 2 years 6 months and 8 days, and Kamtiyah Ningsih from the Environmental Science Masters Study Program with a study period of 1 year 6 months and 14 days.
