Kepakaran Dosen:
Dr. Catur Edi Widodo memiliki kepakaran di bidang fisika instrumentasi dan elektronika dengan pendekatan komputasi modern. Fokus utama risetnya mencakup pengolahan citra digital, machine learning dan deep learning, serta data mining untuk analisis sistem kompleks. Keahliannya banyak diterapkan pada berbagai bidang seperti diagnosis citra medis (misalnya deteksi COVID-19 dan pleural effusion), klasifikasi kualitas produk berbasis citra (seperti kesegaran ikan dan deteksi objek asing pada beras), serta analisis perilaku berbasis data (contohnya pola pengguna jalan). Selain itu, ia juga mengembangkan simulasi numerik dan sistem berbasis sensor dalam konteks fisika terapan.
